Commissioned work for : ZiSha work "Qian He" 谦和 Set with Two Cups and Tea Pet, crafted extremely skilfully with Huang Long Yuan's National-Authenticated Huang Long Shan 4th Quarry Di Cao Qing 黄龙源国家验证黄龙山四号井底槽清, by Senior Consummate Master Lu Xue Feng 国家高级振兴技艺师 ~ 路学峰。
- bespoke commissioned in September 2023 for our esteemed patron, Mr and Mrs Phuong Nguyen in the Arizona, U.S. . Qian He Pot, $4,375, Qian He two Cups at $720 x 2, and the Tea Pet is $590.
Mr and Mrs Phuong Nguyen gave their suggestions to Senior Master Lu in September and classily left it to, and respected Senior Master Lu to work his own skill, his high aesthetic and Art from years of ZiSha Art learning and cultivation, all into the creation of this new improvised Qian He work.
Mr and Mrs Phuong Nguyen also asked Senior Master Lu to help create and design two accompanying cups.
They also love the fable of Sun Wu Kong 孙悟空, the Monkey God, where Monkey God Sun Wu Kong and the monkey kids rejoice in the fruits of the fabled Fruit Mountain 花果山. One of the fruit types born from the trees will ripen in the form of baby motifs. Mr and Mrs Phuong Nguyen wanted Senior Master Lu to style for them a Tea Pet in the likeness and spirit of these babies :-D. Senior Master Lu quickly got to work, researched, learnt the sculpting amazingly within two months and created and crafted this Tea Pet :-D !!!
Just like the recent commissioned 方尊 Fang Zun work showcased where Mr and Mrs T. Truxell had given Senior Master Lu some suggestions, Senior Master Lu worked his magic and skills to conjure and design a new Fang Zun with the amazing design elements, original, showcasing deep sense of ZiSha Aesthetic.
Senior Master Lu continues to wow and make his patrons feel extremely, extremely happy.

The First Frame is the World's Debut of the Qian He Set.

The Second to Fourth Frames are Senior Master Lu's working and crafting the Qian He pot.
The Fifth Frame shows Senior Master Lu's artful designing work.
The Sixth Frame is a candid clip caught at instant: Senior Master Lu's alteration.
The Seventh Frame is his completed design of the Qian He Cup.
The Eighth Frame is the Sheng Pei 生胚, Raw Pot, prior to firing. Notice that the lid always sits on top of the pot, being slightly bigger than the interface, because after firing, the lid will shrink and drop in to the pot.
Ninth Frame:
Hard Work and, yes, appreciate the unseen hardwork behind the scenes: Senior Master Lu shows both cups after the first firing, showing the slight deformity: the deformity of the rim not being completely circular. These are rejected.
Senior Master Lu has to work on and recraft from scratch, two new cups.
Tenth Frame:
The recrafted two cups on the turntable. The Man Pian is still visible, before Senior Master Lu cuts off the excess Man Pian clay slab.
Eleventh Frame:
The completed, lovable, joyful and artful Tea Pet created by Senior Master Lu.
Twelfth Frame onwards:
Senior Master Lu's completed Qian He set.

The Qian He Set formed superb with beautiful sculptures. The Tea Pet is beautiful and its face details are contented. The Qian He Set functions well at brewing tea too. The pot's strong steady pouring is admired. The cups are adorable, proudly and roundly to held on hands.
