I am delighted by this adorable pot. Communication with Ian has been excellent, shipping was fast and efficient.
At first, I was afraid of the 200 ml volume would make the piece too large or impractical to use other than as a mere statement piece, but the craftsmanship is so refined and well thought that I hardly notice the size anymore. It is very easy to use, and I now find the pot most adorable and not in the least intimidating.
Clay is superb, with a deep presence and a tactile feel but the precise design and high firing almost give the impression of holding a piece made of metal, both light and dense.
The clay carving is mesmerizing and I never get tired to gaze at it with all its minute details and subtle colours.
The brews I get are rich and thick ; the pot works very well with all kinds of tea, but even more convincingly with young sheng pu'erh.
Congratulation to master Li for her magnificent work and many thanks for providing us with the privilege of using such a great pot !
This Teapot is absolutely stunning and exactly what I was looking for in everyday! Thank You so much for sourcing this artwork. Will be a lifelong piece for tea for years to come!
This is my first time investing in a pot like this and I couldn’t be happier! As a practitioner of Kung Fu, the time spent crafting my pot was certainly recognized and appreciated. Tea time has quickly become a luxury.
I ordered the purple clay pot from realzisha, and I'm happy to see that even in Kentucky I can get a genuine piece. A foreigner like me is surprised at how small it is, but I appreciate the rough and smooth texture and am currently drinking my favorite tea from Yunnan out of this lovely tea pot.
