五长老紫泥, 龙血砂 Wu Chang Lao Zi Ni with Long Xue Sha, 200ml, by our collaborative L5 Artist Tu Xia Ying 屠暇英。

 

Tu Xia Ying is our trusted collaborative Artist, L5 Accredited Artist, 工艺美术员。 Humble, hardworking, honest, homely and great solid works.

Here we present a special little Fang Gu, made by her, and she had chosen to use the Fifth Factory formula with both Long Xue Sha and Lao Zi Ni.

Artist Tu utilized the Wu Chang Lao Zi Ni formula Zi Ni clay, thus tapping into its characteristic darker hue & smoothness+relative moisturised appearance; combining it with Long Xue Sha to imbue within it the characteristic graininess.  The resultant feel and texture is that of a understated looking work with the corrugatedness of appearance, with the moisturised feel of Lao Zi Ni.

Remember the corrugatedness of hard rubberised panels on the top of a car's dashboard?  The corrugatedness of this pot, is highly similar to that :-D

The texture is obviously different from normal pure ZiNi, as it presents with the characteristics of Long Xue Sha: graininess, plus that *reddish hue.  Combined with Lao ZiNi, we have a darkish, tad red, high graininess yet still smooth textured, moisturised work.

We love this pot.

We will launch this specially arranged Work by Tu Xia Ying : Fang Gu 仿古, comes with her Certificate, on the 30th October, at GMT 0600 hours.

Certificate will come with your name, it will be written in the Chinese language.  If your name is not in Chinese, definitely okay!!because Chinese characters will be chosen aptly to fit in with the pronunciation of your name in your native language.  Or, if you have a preferred name in Chinese characters, we will likewise ask Artist Tu to write them for you accordingly.
