Thank you for appreciating this latest hard work and successful pot out from the kiln, made by our collaborative Craftsman, Wu Ke Ren 吴可人。 Thank you!!!
This pot has the discontinuous and roughly horizontal marks in the inner walls, and these are called the: 泥凳纹 Ni Deng Wen, which are the marks left on the clay slab , complementary to the marks on the workbench of the Craftsman Wu Ke Ren!!!🙇♂️🤗🎋 During the making of FHM ZiSha pots, the Craftladies and Craftsmen will be using tools to cut the clay slabs, etc, and these leave marks on the studio workbench. Especially the first major forceful cut across the table to delineate the clay she/he wants to utilize to form the main body of the body. Thus when the craftsman subsequently pound the clay slab on the workbench, these marks will be etched onto the clay slab! Thus you are "enjoying" the additional natural hallmarks of a Fully-Handmade pot. Even a partially handmade pot will not show these marks. And for those Erhem, cheating Jigger-machined pots may show CONCENTRIC circular lines, usually all parallel to one another.
Very nice experience and great quality.
Pictures do not do it justice! I am very excited to give this beautiful piece some love.
This is my third zisha teapot from realzisha.com, a vendor I trust for quality and reliability. The teapot is cute and well-made. I paired it with sheng pu’er tea, and it works great. Thanks to Craftsman Zhai Yi Yao for the excellent craftsmanship and to Ian and the team for the smooth transaction.
Fast delivery, flawless packaging.
