Long Dan 龙蛋 ~"Dragon's Egg", 168.7ml, Huang Jiang Po Ni 黄降坡泥, by our Collaborative Craftsman Chen Hua Jun 陈华军。

Dearest Friends in our Tea Journey, we have successfully invited Craftsman Chen Hua Jun  陈华军 to be officially with us.  One great Craftsman of Fully-Handmade ZiSha Art, we have been wooing him for the preceding months, and after seeing our vision of saving Fully-Handmade ZiSha Art, and being the only totally authentic Fully-Handmade ZiSha platform that can realise his identical hope for Fully-HandmadeZiSha Art, he joined us in early June 2024!   He is now working with Craftsman Chen Fa Chu, Craftsman Chen Gui Zhi, Craftsman Zhang Huan, Craftsman Gu Xiao Ming, Craftsman Wang Xing, Craftsman Zhai Yi Yao, et al.  They are regarded as giants in our minds, working away nights on end, each with a studio to concentrate on their Art and Craft.  All totally committed to the cause, and unfazed and unaffected by the luring calls of higher pay and stable pay from the jigger-machining industry bosses.

This is who we are, and we are here for you.

Chen Hua Jun presents this 龙蛋 Long Dan to all of you.  This is an all time classic shape, created two hundred years ago, established during the Ming Dynasty.

龙蛋 Long Dan as first conceptualised and brought to life in the Ming Dynasty as a ZiSha shape, was subsequently, during the Qing Dynasty, vividly referenced by Literati Wu Mei Ding 吴梅鼎 in the famous ZiSha book《阳羡茗壶赋》《Yang Xian Ming Hu Fu》thus: "The Roundish Shape, being akin to a Sphere, and being more vertically poised, would be the Long Dan, the Dragon's Egg." 
"圆者如丸，体稍纵，为龙蛋。"
This 200-year old classic ZiSha shape bases its silhouette on an oval aesthetic, clean and Austere, with a strong-girthed base, exuding the solid stance on the tea table.

As we are at it, dear friends, 阳羡 Yang Xian is the ancient name of Yi Xing 宜兴。

Chen Hua Jun is very familiar with Jiang Po Ni, both Red and Yellow, and here, he brings forth this Long Dan 龙蛋。 Jiang Po Ni is a combination of Hong Ni, Zi Ni and Lü Ni.  Both Hong (Red) Jiang Po Ni and Huang (Yellow) Jiang Po Ni are both relatively sandy/grainy, with the characteristic ORANGEY-RED HUE.  Both Hong Jiang Po Ni and Huang Jiang Po Ni contain the combination of HongNi, LüNi and ZiNi.  Hong Jiang Po Ni has comparatively more HongNi within, while Huang Jiang Po Ni has a higher percentage of ZiNi and LüNi within.  JiangPoNi is amazingly porous.  Huang Jiang Po Ni is one of the most amazing unadulterated ZiSha clay with amazing Patina formation through use.  It is very rewarding to use Huang Jiang Po Ni, both for its amazing Patina formation and its excellent pairings with both Sheng and Shu Pu Er.

It sports a ~______ml capacity to help with solo to three pax tea savouring.

Craftsman Chen also conscientiously sculpted a 手推内球孔 Hand-Pushed Spherical Filter to increase the number of filter holes for a solid and fast pour of tea out, working with the largish diameter spout; and with better catching of tea leaves at the bottom fast while allowing tea to flow out from the upper holes.

Skillful Craftsman Chen Hua Jun, now working hard alongside our stalwarts Craftsmen Zhang Huan and Chen Fa Chu!  He officially joins us all at RealZiSha from June 2024 onwards.  Our happy and hardworking family is united for you friends.  Thank you dearest Friends in Tea, for your grandest support to these honest and dedicated Craftsmen left to fend the Fully-Handmade ZiSha Art and Craft.
