Master Li amazes us with another one of her Fine Art as a L3A Consummate Master Artist:《如意清莲壶》Ru Yi Qing Lian Hu ~ "Lotus of Auspiciousness and Purity"!
A cheerful, happy and delightful design by Master Li, as she adorns the shoulder with the Ru Yi ~ Auspicious Embellishments, all around!  This may seem easy to newcomers or outsiders, but this work carries with it a high percentage of failure, as the pieces often crack off.   Master Li manages to coax in and adorn with seven Ru Yi pieces on each side, just like a poem of two stanzas, each with seven characters!




Master Li cares about ergonomics amidst her wish of a minimally embellished Austere work, but also imbue it with engaging design elements: here with a wide ring lid knob, and three imprints of the Ru Yi design motif around and on it!
The ring design allows the hot vapour to come up and immediately spread out in the large circular space, and the top end of the lid knob is situated high as well.  Both these result in the owner's supporting finger pulp, avoiding easily any scathing hot vapour.


The Ru Yi imprint also acts superbly as friction grip pads onto which the finger pulp easily and securely presses onto the lid as the owner tilts and pours tea from this work.







We have already seen how Master Li Yan Ru professes, specialises and "owns!", the hugely onerous COMBINATION Segmental-Corollary PLUS Overhead Top Handle Class works.  Her Designs are not just pushing Senior Artists and Research Level Artists, they are winning multiple awards!  Totally Understandable for her virtuoso skills honed from many years of hard work and learning since young.

Besides her specialty class Master Li has always, consistently been crafting Austere and Polygonal Works as well for our Chinese patrons! All who insist on having her craft for them.

Master Li has consistently orders coming through for her Austere works ever since she has been working with us in China since 2018, and her international debut with us in mid-2024 which showcased three of her signature and award-winning Segmental-Corollary ZiSha works.  The fourth and highly proclaimed, Segmental-Corollary ZiSha work was launched in December and was snatched up within a day.  She regularly crafts Austere and Polygonal works on her own terms, and what she loves to manifest.
